Let us say a prayer

Let us say a prayer of gratitude for all the eyelashes that have graced us with its daily presence throughout the week. Every day we felt glamorous… Now it’s time to resurrect those lovely spiders into its final form. The fantasy lash! Let’s get personal. After a week of wear, I’m sure you’ll want to say sayonara to those glue gooped left overs. Instead of saying farewell, say hello to another couple of days of glamour. You’ll want to start off with cleaning the used glue residue from the lash bad, then use a q-tip to disinfect. After they’re dry, use a pair of tiny cuticle scissors to cut them in to custers.

After all your creepy crawlies are cut up, you’ll want to grab tweezers and my favorite waterproof lash glue by Sassy. This glue will wear until you exclaim, uncle! For all those ladies whom fancy waking up pretty, this techynique is sure to leave your loved ones thinking you have a socerors touch. We can just pretend like you woke up super early to apply fantasy lashes. Your lashes will lasts several days if your careful and not get them wet. After living in Miami, I’m confident in saying the Sassy Lash Glue will live though a hurricane. You won’t need to worry about the inner or out edges lifting with this. Just be careful when you remove it. I’m sure you don’t want to look like the Cynthia doll.  Appy makeup remover on a q-tip and run it along the base of your lashes and your extensions will slip off into its grave.

We’re taking it way back to our roots. I think no matter what ancestry you have, I’m sure at some point the head scarf was an iconic fashion staple. Look at Aunt Jamima! Just kidding, although she was iconic, I’m thinking more closely to African culture and the evolution to celebrity movie stars wearing it while driving down a narrow mountainous road, in a convertible, with the wind blowing on your designer shades. Okay let’s reel it back to realty. Ha!  It covers your hair for rest days, looks chic, and makes you look exotic. That last part what my boyfriend said… okaay!

Last but not least, my eyeshadow. Who wants to be a diva on the low low?! I got my eye look from the Milani Most loved Mattes Palette. This is gold! Literally, it has a beautiful gold packaging- which makes you think it’s more than $20.00 bucks! These mattes blend like a dream and offer every transition color you need for any eye look. I used it mostly in my crease and dropped in Naked Pigment, by MAC, as a topper to my lid. I can’t dismiss the feline like ultra dark licorice on the waterline. This sets it off!

This week we slay as a diva on the low low for sure. Check out what I used below to create this look!

Good luck dolls!

Xoxo
